I see this place has not changed since I left to focus on University two years ago.
Well what's going on with me and University life? I have 5 weeks left and I'm very much out of there. Foxcat and I have been working vigorously on our video game which we'll be finalizing in 4 weeks. Amongst that I'm also doing a number of 3D projects and Animation history. Fun fun fun.
One thing I've noticed is that my art has taken a remarkable nosedive into hell. Going to have to pick that up pronto when I get out of there.
During 2003, I began and suddenly found an interest in sketching and drawing comics and small concepts of would-be video game characters. I used to post up pieces that I had made and coloured inside of productivity suites like Adobe Photoshop CS2 every so often to Sheezyart. Never once did I ever get the infamous 'art bug' however that most artists encounter, and my interest in drawing art began to flick on and off like a light over the years until in 2007 I enrolled at a TAFE course and learned about different studies behind the development of Video Games, focusing mostly on programming. In 2008, I enrolled at the Queensland University of Technology to continue studies and completed a Bachelor of Games Interactive Entertainment, majoring in Animation.
My odd choice in a major relates to the fact that while I was studying I found an interest in the life class studies, and I got the bug back in that class. It had been a year since then and I'm looking to forward my art.
At the currently I'm going back to QUT to learn about Information Technologies as a backup in case I don't get to far in my art/game design career.
I just had a look back at my old account and I saw your comment, and I was wondering could you help me get this account back? i lost the password and the password recovery pretty much failed on me.
I'm no longer a staff member unfortunately dude, I retired because I was going to uni and wouldn't have the time. You're going to have to contact another moderator through PM. I would suggest Doodlibop or Prismind for the best results.
